Chef Carlo Cracco's 2 Michelin star restaurant
This restaurant, run by chef Carlo Cracco, was awarded two Michelin stars following its opening in 2001. Cracco examines and reinvents traditional Milanese dishes in a contemporary way, and whilst some of his ingredient combinations may seem a little unusual, take the risk, as they are often his finest dishes.
Carlo Cracco is one of Italy's most important chefs, even well-known among the general public for his appearances as part of the jury in Masterchef and Hell's Kitchen Italia.
The modern restaurant, completely redesigned in 2007 by Beretta studio features a "table d'hote" inside the kitchen. They also boast a wine list with around 2000 references.
Open for lunch Tuesday to Friday from 12:00 to 14:00 and for dinner Monday to Saturday from 19:30 to 23:00.
Visitor comments
- "This restaurant offers traditional dishes from Milan and elsewhere in Italy reinterpreted with a modern twist and playing on contrasts of textures, flavours and colours. The elegantly discreet ambience is made even more hushed by the cherrywood panelling on the walls. There is also a "table d'hôte" - a small table for a maximum of four diners, which offers views of the team at work in the kitchen." - Michelin Guide
- "A truly marvellous meal in every respect. Great service, fabulous creative food and a super wine list. The staff are very experienced and helpful. We had the privilege of meeting the chef, which was very special." - Trip Advisor
- "Genial! Odd, almost strange, but exquisite and imaginative cuisine. A highly recommended culinary experience." - Trip Advisor
